19th century original French bronze statue made by Gaston Leroux. Gaston Leroux (1854-1942) is one of the famous French listed orientalist artist. It shows a lady carrying water from a well. It is signed on the lower right G.Leroux. It has a bronze oval patina.  It has a bronze plaque in front of the base. It writes “It was the winner of gold medal in the salon” on the plaque.

Dimensions: Height 17.5 inches (44.5 cm), width 6 inches (15 cm), diameter 5.4 inches (13.7 cm).
