A pair of Baccarat gilt-metal mounted ‘rock crystal style’ vases and covers. Circa 1880. Made for the Turkish market, each tall thick-walled square shouldered form with circular foot, set into a square Oriental-style pedestal base with four scroll feet, the mounted narrow circular neck with domed cover surmounted by a moulded Ottoman star and crescent finial. Baccarat circular marked on.

The dimensions are: Height 14.1 inches (36 cm), width 4.3 inches (11 cm), depth 4.3 inches (11 cm).
