Bronze Gilt Mantel Clock
Bronze gilt mantel clock that dates from the third quarter of the 19th C. (c. 1860). The gilding is in perfect and originaal condition and the style of this clock is EMPIRE. The clock case is made of the finest bronze and on the top of the clock is a very fine figure represent Isis,the Greek Goddess of Universe. She is sitting on a rock with a globe and two books. The gilding is in perfect condition and the porcelain dial has Roman numerals and beautiful steel hands. The dial is signed with: Dubois a Paris. The movement is driving on a silk suspension and the clock is in fine working order.Good running and striking condition with a 8 days going clock work and the 1/1 and 1/2 hours striking on a bronze silvered bell.
The dimensions are: Height: 15,5 inches (39.4 cm), width: 13 inches (33 cm) and depth 4,5 inches (11.5 cm).
