Calligrapher Box

Early 19th century Ottoman Calligrapher Box is made of walnut. Paper, pencils, scissors and paint are for individual drawers, and drawers are a total of 9. Ivory is over. Ottoman, tree and flower patterns on. It is in excellent condition.

A similar Calligrapher Box (Lot # 195) sold 190.000 $ at Sotheby’s 7th october 2009 auction.

Dimensions: 17 inches (43 cm) length, 10.25 inches (26 cm) heigth, 12.5 inches (32cm) width.
